There are a lot of sanitary items that are being imported and used in South Africa. The prices may be cheaper but the quality and safety are not as good as locally made products. The installation and compatibility with local parts is also not always possible or if it is, requires more time and more materials. It would be advisable to buy only local sanitary items that are quality guaranteed and spares are freely available at reasonable prices.

We prefer to use the sanitary items and baths from VAAL, BETTA, or PLEXICOR. We have installed their products on most of our sites and have encountered little or no problems.
