There are a variety of basins on the market. When a basin leaks it has a few places where we need to check;

• The P/ S trap or stainless steel trap is leaking.We will need to change the leaking item.
• The basin waste is leaking. We will change the waste.
• Flexible hose connector to the mixer or tap is leaking.
• The tap is not sealing properly on the basin. The spilt water then goes through the unsealed tap and drips onto the floor. We need to take the tap/mixer off and re-seal it.
• Basin is cracked somewhere. We must replace the basin.
• Angle valve/ shut off valve is leaking. This will need to be replaced. Sometimes the angle valve/ shut off valve breaks in the wall and a few tiles must be chiseled out.
